Esuubi Community Church

Bringing Hope to our Community by sharing the love of Christ through we free medical care, schooling children from vulnerable families, caring for teenage mothers, and discipling a community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to teach and disciple our community with the goal of both leading people to salvation in Christ and discipling them in their faith. We believe that, as a church, we are to love each-other within the church (John 13:35) and that we are also to love those outside of the church – spreading the Good News to all (Matt 28:19-20).

Claire and I started Esuubi Community Church and have had the wonderful opportunity of reaching the community – both in evangelism and discipleship. We have been further blessed by the wonderful people in our church and the gifts and the unique ways that each person is a part of the body of Christ.

Our Core Beliefs

We believe that all scripture (sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament) are
verbally inspired of God, and they are without error in the original writings, and
they are supreme and final authority for life and all matters of godliness (2
Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe in one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), Creator, Supreme and Sustainer of the
universe, who is eternally existent in three persons- Father, Son and Holy Spirit
(Genesis 1:26, Matt 28:19-20).

We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ (100% God), His bodily incarnation (100%
man) (John 1:1-14), His virgin birth, sinless life, His substitutional death on the
cross to fully atone for the sins of everyone who believes in Him (2 Corinthians
5:21), and him being the intermediate between man and God (1 Timothy 2:5),
His bodily resurrection, His exaltation at God’s right hand, His intercession for
the believers (Hebrews 7:25 and 1 John 2:1)and His personal imminent pretribulation
( to come for the church) and pre-Millennial (to rule for 1000 years as
King on earth) return and thereafter judge the unsaved of all generations on the
white throne (Revelations 20:11-15).

We believe that the Holy Spirit is one of the Persons of God, therefore He is God
and eternally existent. He convicts the world of its sin, and righteousness and
judgment (John 16:6-11). He indwells believers from the time they believe in
Jesus (Ephesians 1:13), He baptizes them in the body of Christ (1 Cor 12:13), He
is the seal and pledge of the believers’ inheritance (Ephesian 1:13-14, 2 Cor 1:22,
5:5)), He guides the believers in all truth and yields a godly fruit in the life of an
obedient believer (Galatians 5:22), believers cannot lose him (Romans 11:29),
but can grieve (Ephesians 4:30) and quench Him (1 Thessalonian 5:19).

We believe that man was created in God’s image and without sin. However, man
decided to willfully choose to disobey God’s command of not eating from the tree
of knowing good and evil [Genesis 2:17, 3:1-7]. Because of Adam’s disobedience,
sin came in the world (Romans 5:12). Therefore, all humans are born with a sin
nature (Psalms 51:5), estranged from God, enemies of Him in deeds and minds
(Colossians 1:21) and this puts them under God’s condemnation (Romans 6:23,
Ephesians 2:1-3)).

We believe that all who by faith believe in Jesus Christ are God’s children (John
1:12) and therefore eternally saved from His wrath (Romans 5:1). The Holy
Spirit baptizes them in the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13) {The Church.}
and dwells in them to enlighten, guide, and enable them in life, testimony, and
service. We believe that God answers the prayers of His Children and meets their
need according to His Sovereign purpose {1 John 5:14-15}.

We believe that salvation is a work of God; He begins, sustains and will
eventually accomplish it (Philippians 1:16). All believes have been called a life of
progressive separation from all the world, its sinful practices and alliances
(Romans 12:1-2, Philippians 2:12-13).

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting
blessedness of the saved in glory {1 Corinthians 15:35-57} and everlasting
conscious punishment of the lost in hell {Revelation 20:11-15}

We believe that God according to His Sovereign Will, freely gives Spiritual gifts
for edification of the body of Christ {1 Corinthians 12: 7,11}. However, the gift of
speaking in tongues, Apostleship and signs and wonders, and Prophecy were
specifically limited for the foundation of the church (early church) {Ephesians

We believe that Christian service should be an overflow of our love for God. Our
service to God does not merit us in any sense, service or ministry is a fruit that
sprouts from our loving relationship we have with our Lord, stirred by the Holy
Spirit who lives inside of us. We are not saved by good works, but we are saved
for them (Ephesians 2:8-9,10).

We believe from the beginning with Adam and Eve, God ordained marriage as only between man and woman (one man for one woman). All sexual activities outside marriage including homosexual practices (or LGBT) is in direct violation to God’s Word and His Institution of the home.
